The original Volt had some real strengths-finger-snap torque off the line being the best. The car moves as a coherent whole, balanced, responsive, reminding me of how suited a properly integrated electric drivetrain is for serious driving (see every story written about Tesla for more information). I squeeze the Regen on Demand paddles behind the steering wheel to whoa-down the car with my fingers. The steering effort is slightly heavy-I like that. "Um, golly, this is a really fun." I dip in and out of the throttle, ginning and rotating the cornering car exactly so. Even a kid would complain about this spot, but it's a check in the box next to the words "conceivably, I could." In back, I folded myself into the new, temporary middle-seat perch that requires straddling the battery but expands the car into five-seater territory (though there's no center headrest). We all became befuddled as the screen showed the map to one destination while the voice gave directions to the other). I asked them for a refund on the price of the car that i paid they refused. I am tired of the excuses the car is a lemon but GM will not back up the vehicle. Because it works when they get it in the shop and i dont own a cell phone. And when i take it to the dealer they tell me it is the infotainment system. We unplugged the phone and then shut down the car then started the car and plugged in the phone and it worked again for 10 minutes and crapped out again. then the infotainment system stopped working altogether. We started to move to see if it tracked us and yes it did but we are using Google maps not a gm app and we have no control over what information google collects. we downloaded all the things needed and then hooked up the phone. a friend has a cell phone and wanted to see how the picture looked on the screen. Infotainment system what a piece of junk it is. Other times it could charge to 60 miles and anyplace in between. But sometime it only charges to 43 miles. It says the car is suppose to go 53 miles on battery. Tires are so weak they dont hold air even for a week.Īlready had a valve stem on one of the tires replaced I wonder how many more things will go wrong. And to top it off you have to pay an extra 35 dollars a month for OnStar to get map gps directions if you dont have a cell phone but to get a cell phone it cost you over100 a month for phone and cell service. ![]() so i had to listen to my self humming for the rest of my trip to Georgia. And then after it would not allow my music usb connected player work. ![]() ![]() But I couldn't even lock the doors so I had to sit up and wait for an hour for it to complete the radio update. so I figured i would lock it and leave it run. Engine was running and I couldn't shut it off. well it was 1 am and i found a hotel to stay at and tried to shut off my car. I was evacuating for the hurricane last year and GM decided to update my radio. I had a doctors appointment when out to the car and it wouldn't come out of park after about 30 minutes of running the car finally it came out of park. First it has a problem getting it out of park.
